On the off chance someone comes back to look at these, I had a question.
How would you guys feel about a Discord dedicated to this site? It's obvious that we rarely use the forum anymore, but we did seem to enjoy talking to each other when we did. Having a fast and easy access to discussion may even bring back some older members who don't have time for forum posts anymore (like most of us).
If anyone still checks the boards like I try to, what do you think?

I have no problems with it, but I also won't likely be participating, or at least not often. Discord isn't a total system hog, but I still tend to notice when I try running it in the background... meaning I won't be there all that often.

It is indeed a chat room.
I got one cause it does everything Skype does with nowhere near the stress on my systems.
Do you think this would be a good idea though?

Discord has the option for text, voice and video chat.
Text is the standard, with voice as an option automatically. You have to start a video chat within the chat to have one of those and I believe it covers up to 6 people.
My plan was to focus on the text chat. If people want to do voice or video, I'm cool with those too. I would prefer text though.

Sounds good. That way I don't necessarily have to figure out where the camera attachment disappeared to.

There was even a MM11 discussion thread created, but it was the same usual people. You, me, Otaku and Vile. Thanatos and Zan are active elsewhere, RJZ never rejoined and I haven't heard from Flame since we first started this forum back up. Hypershell is incredibly busy with work and Enigma is off somewhere doing the same thing, but I hope he's doing alright.
Thing is, we never had a lot of members. Just a few very active ones. And most of them have left for other places.
