Hiyo, I have come to share my love of Megaman with peoples

Hello fellow Megafans! I'm Rocknrollrocknroller, and I have just joined your forum here.

I've been playing Megaman games since I first rented #1 from a video store in my hometown. I must've been 10 or 11 at the time. I picked Fireman first, and was impressed with the quality of the music, having only really played a few NES games at the time.

Anything that'll get me mobbed/gannon-banned/etc round here? I have been on forums before where things got a little...erm...ugly. In addition, as a related question, what history of your community should I be aware of?

I just last night purchased Megaman X Legacy Collection on Steam, and beat the first game this afternoon. Yay, a save feature.

Not sure what "gannon-banned" means, but the main thing is to follow the board rules and to try and be at least somewhat courteous. We're not an overly active board right now, and I won't tell you it is impossible to get banned (because it most definitely is possible), but I don't think you have to walk on eggshells and at most need to be "cautious" if getting banned has been a problem for you.

As someone who has had his own struggles elsewhere, the usual answer is to "think before I post", where "think" takes longer and longer the more riled up I am. XP

It's a thing from Internet History where a certain Zelda forum (not sure which) got into the habit of banning anyone who spelled "Gannon" the 'wrong' way. The debate was over whether there are two n's or one n, i.e., "Gannon" or "Ganon."
