Years ago I owned the entire MM library on the NES. I sold them all off, when I bought the MM Anniversary Collection on the PS2 though. Then I find out that MM2 specifically had some messed up stuff about it, that made me regret selling my cartridges.

- can't sit at the top of the ladder anymore
I rebought MM2 on the 3DS & again on the Wii U only to find the same problems. So finally I rebought the actual NES cartridge. All the problems were gone, all the little tricks & cool stuff were there. But I still couldn't sit at the top of the ladder with Megaman hunched over the ledge. I swear I remember being able to do this & I know that MM9 & 10 let you do it. And if those 2 games allow it, it's because they're recreating everything from the classic games. So what gives? Were there different versions of the NES cartridges being put out? Am I actually crazy? Any info on this weird ladder Mystery would be great.
