Hi, MMNetwork users! I've always been a huge fan of fanbases of multiple things, but most of all, MegaMan. There's nothing cooler than the truest of fans, you often find that you can find those people in the forums. I wanted to show you a game that's largely, mostly, inspired by MegaMan and MegaMan ZX, while also taking inspiration from a variety of other games, that I just uploaded to Greenlight, I would love to know what you think of the game! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=875940155

I'm down for an open world 2D Megaman game (I love Corruption), so I'm down to play it when it comes out. I just have two major questions for now.
1. Will there be more character/model options to choose from? 2. I love ZX and enjoy playing as Zero greatly, but as a huge Megaman X fan, I would like to know if a buster will be an option for a weapon.

Drago, Cool! That's great to hear! The game is going to be free, but I'm still going to push to try to get it up on Steam. Some people have advised me not to as the expense may not be worth it, but I'm quite sure it will be. To answer your questions: 1. Yeah, there will definitely be more to choose from. I'm going to get rid of the Blue Bomber model just to avoid a cease and desist, but there will be many inspired by many games. One, specifically, is inspired heavily by Sonic, Shinobi, and Ninja Gaiden. This armor is model S, and you get it in the Super Sonic Shinobi stage, named after the boss of that area, to defeat him. This area will play a lot like Sonic Spinball, here's a pic of the model I've uploaded to the web already: 2. Yeah, there'll be all kinds of models with all kinds of attacks. None will play anything like X or Zero in the final product though, as the game's design has underwent some big changes since the last upload. The game heavily emphasizes the fighting mechanics, and the basic sword swinging combos that are seen in the trailer aren't actually representative of how the game actually plays right now. Model S (My favorite by far, so I've got a bit more to show for this one), has a homing air attack similar to the Sonic games, throwable kunai that are kinda like those in ZX's model PX, as a combo will throw some in quick succession, and you can throw them while moving forward, but at the end of the combo, Byte will spin around and throw a giant shuriken instead, stopping him for a few seconds. --- Every armor model is heavily inspired by two specific games, mashing the concepts together into one unique armor, in both appearance and moveset. Also, as the game currently stands, I've moved away from the original formula quite a bit, a formula that was much more similar to Metroid. Before Sonic Mania had been announced, I'd conveniently for them gotten back into Sonic because of watching a video that trashed on the originals pretty heavily. As an avid fan of Sonic, I was pretty ticked, so decided to by the Genesis collection Sega ported to PS3, and I was not disappointed. Though, I discovered something about the game that might make it a LOT easier to play. The main complaint for Sonic was that it tries to balance going fast with platforming, and in the harder platforming spots, it just doesn't work well. That gave me the concept of a Run button that could only be used for a specific amount of time, and when it runs out would be about the same moment a player would run into a platforming section. This ultimately led to the creation of Happy Wheels like vehicles and bitmasked terrain tile painting for the editor. The game is now much harder than the original concept. You die in only a few hits, borderline Super Meat Boy level difficulty. You can read even more about the design, planning, etc., here on my blog: kiiragames.com/blogAnd I thank you for your time! ~TheChayed
